Benjamin Rubin has served as the General Counsel for Very Real Estate since its inception. He specializes in commercial and residential real estate transactions, and has a reputation for bringing the same high level of precision and care that is customarily only applied in the commercial setting to each of his residential deals.
Ben graduated from Cornell’s Hotel School in 1991, and then held various management positions in hospitality operations in NYC. His perspective in business and management is leveraged to provide pragmatic and effective advice and counsel.
Ben returned home to Philadelphia and graduated Temple Law in 2003. During law school, Ben wrote the legal opinions for Philadelphia’s Zoning Board of Adjustment and gained valuable insight into the local market and government. He has a family history in zoning and land use, and currently serves on the Zoning Committee for the Bella Vista Town Watch, his local neighborhood group. In addition to real estate, Ben specializes in secured transactions, collections, litigation, contracts, labor law, and management issues. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and the Federal District Courts for Eastern District and for the State of New Jersey.
